In October 2025, a volunteer humanitarian convoy successfully completed a 2,700-mile mission to deliver a Mitsubishi L200 pickup truck and critical supplies to front-line units near Izyum and Kharkiv in eastern Ukraine. The vehicle and its cargo are now supporting soldiers defending their country against Russia’s ongoing invasion, providing life-saving medical capability, mobility, and practical support in some of the most dangerous areas of the front.
The mission involved months of preparation, route-planning, and close coordination with a trusted Ukrainian logistics team to navigate border controls, air-raid risks, and rapidly changing front-line conditions. Volunteers drove from the UK through France, Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Romania, adjusting plans when an experimental route via Moldova was blocked, and ensured that every item funded by donors was handed directly to vetted units on the ground, while drivers personally covered their own travel expenses as their contribution to the effort.
Delivered vehicle and supplies included:
- 1 Mitsubishi L200 pickup truck
- 69 CAT Gen-7 tourniquets, 49 Celox Rapid hemostatic gauze, 37 Russell chest seals for battlefield trauma care
- Hospital dressings, crepe bandages, major trauma dressings, clinical wipes, pelvic sling, resuscitators, cricothyrotomy kits, scissors, and a stretcher to support front-line medics and field hospitals
- 1 DJI Mavic 3 Pro drone
- 3 EcoFlow River 2 Max portable power stations with one solar panel
- Boots, sleeping bags, waterproof jackets and trousers, hand warmers
- Camping stoves, gas bottles, tools, and vehicle emergency supplies (cable ties, jump leads, straps, tire repair)
